Swimming
When I first put on my damp life-jacket on it was cold and wet. Then I walked up the stairs and hopped in the pool it was cold and freezing. I dunked my head under the water it felt nice. Then we were singing the National Anthem. I was spinning around in circles in the pool. When we finished putting my face under the water my lips were cold and almost turned purple.
Chris is a man who has come to teach as about water safety. He is from Water safety NZ and is going to stay here for the rest of the year.
As I first hopped in the pool Chris said “It is warm.” But it wasn't warm it was cold.
