Basketball.

Basketball has finally came this year so we can have fun and learn some skills all about basketball. When we were walking to the Court's ready to go basketball my body was full of excitement because I went to basketball last year and it was fun and I knew that I would love it. firstly the whole class sat down on the ground then the intonational basketball men introduced themselves and their names were Tie and Shae. After they introduced themselves we had to wait for room 20 to come with us to do some skills as well.

Room 20 had finally came so we got started. first Tie and Shae told us all to stand up and get into a group of four and line up behind the line. After we got into our group's Shae gave all of the group's a ball to use then Tie Told all of us what the first skill we were going to learn and do. That first skill was jump stops Tie showed all of us how to do jump stops and when it was my turn I went half way of the court to do it and it was a bit hard for me but it was fun going up and down the court's bouncing the ball and then doing jump stops. After the jump stops we did dribbling, I liked dribbling because I like bouncing the ball. The last skill was passing, passing is fun to the resin why it is fun is because I like learning new skills and having fun.

Olympic rings.

Have you found out when the Olympic games start and end?

The founder of the modern Olympic games, Pierre de Coubertin, also designed the Olympic flag. For the flag, he chose 6 colours red, yellow, blue, green, black and white. these colours are the colours from every country's flag. And the white of the background stands for peace and truth.
The five rings represents the five continents of the world. Each Olympics this symbol is included in the official Olympic.

My Artwork.

My special place around the whole school is the Pt England senior park. The park is my favourite place because I like hanging out with my friends. The artist I choose was Vincent Van Gogh. I choose him because I thought his style would best portray my art and I liked learning about his style and his artwork. On the left is my artwork that I painted and on the right is the original photo.

My character Description Template - Mr Somerville.

Mr Somerville is really tall and has black curly hair. Mr Somerville is also white.
Mr Somerville Is a funny person and he is also really nice. Mr Somerville likes to joke around with other people. When Mr Somerville jokes around he makes me laugh a lot. The thing I enjoy doing with Mr Somerville is talking with him, laughing and working with him it is so much fun.

My sun flower.

This term we are learning about art and very artist. My class were learning about an artist could Vincent Van Gogh. Vincent Van Gogh is a famous painter and My teacher Mrs Nua Choose one of his painting and it was a sun flower. First I drew my sun flower so I drew it. I finished that so I went on to painting. And I started with the petals with the color yellow and I did 2 layers I finished it a few days later and it look's really cool. Vincent Van Gogh's painting style is Impressionist and brush strokes.

This is my art work that I drew in room 21 it was cool drawing it.

Immersion.

This term we are learning about art and artist. In the past few days our year 7 and 8’s have been doing an Immersion for art. The class I really liked going to was Room 20 Ms Squires. When I was in there every thing was ready thing was ready for us to get started. Ms Squires was talking to us about what we were going to do. Ms Squires showed us some pictures of famous painting drawn by Daniella Hulme.Daniella Hulme is renowned for her style of pacific art that was inspired by her husband who is a samoa.

 

They were really cool painting. She choose one we all had to draw then paint. It was a bowl of fruit. First Ms Squires told our class to draw our grapes. I finished my grapes and Ms Squires told us to draw the rest of the fruit.

When I had finished drawing all of my fruit I was going on to painting. But before we were allowed to paint Ms Squires showed us how to blend the colors in on our fruit. She finished showing us and so I got started and I was really good at blending the colors. I finished painting my fruit and I showed Ms Squires and she said it was great. It was really fun in Ms Squires class I really liked it.
